A family shop by the sea

Flowers – Wayne Jones is a family floral shop on Laskin Road, a short walk from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Wayne has been providing flowers to the community for over 50 years, and the shop has come through hurricanes and the pandemic along the way.

It’s the kind of place where you’re helped by the florist himself. Visitors in town for a marathon or an anniversary write about Wayne getting the flowers just right, and sometimes about the dinner recommendation he threw in, too.

Locals know it as the shop for every season: birthdays, weddings, holidays, and the hard days, too.
